Cast aluminium or steel — which gate suits Fujairah?
The coast usually decides it. Cast aluminium does not rust, which matters within reach of salt air, and it takes intricate ornamental patterns well. Steel is stronger and better suited to very wide spans, heavy-duty security and modern laser-cut panel designs — and with proper powder coating it performs well here too. We fabricate both, and in practice the choice comes down to design, span and budget rather than dogma. Gate design guide →
What gate types do we make?
| Gate type | Best for | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Sliding gates | Wide driveways, limited swing space | Track or cantilever, manual or automated |
| Swing gates | Classic villa entrances | Single or double leaf, ornamental or minimal |
| Automatic gates | Convenience and security | Motor, remote, safety sensors and access control |
| Pedestrian side doors | Matching entry beside the main gate | Same finish and pattern as the driveway gate |
| Boundary railings & fencing | Perimeter to match the gate | Powder-coated steel or aluminium, matching design |
How long does a gate take?
Typically 2–3 weeks from design approval to installation, depending on size, pattern complexity and finish. Automation adds a little. Because fabrication and powder coating both happen in our own workshop, your gate is not waiting in a third-party queue — which is usually where gate timelines slip.
Why does the finish matter more than the metal?
A gate lives outdoors, fully exposed, often within a few kilometres of the sea. In Fujairah that means the coating is the component under attack — and a gate that was painted rather than properly powder-coated will show it within two or three summers. We powder-coat in-house precisely because it is the step where outsourced gate work most often fails. Powder coating vs painting →

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a custom gate cost in Fujairah?
It depends on span, material, pattern complexity, finish and whether automation is included — which is why we quote from an actual site measurement rather than a price list. The quotation is itemised so you can see exactly what each element costs, and you get it within 24 hours of the visit.
Can you automate an existing gate?
Often yes. We assess the existing gate's weight, frame condition and hinge or track arrangement during the site visit, then advise whether automation can be retrofitted safely or whether the structure needs strengthening first.
Do you make matching boundary railings and fencing?
Yes — and matching the gate is the usual request. The same pattern, profile and powder-coat colour run through the gate, side door and perimeter railings so the whole boundary reads as one piece of work.
Will a steel gate rust in Fujairah?
Not if it is finished correctly. Bare or painted steel will corrode in coastal air; properly prepared and powder-coated steel holds up well. If rust resistance is the overriding concern, cast aluminium removes the risk entirely.
How long does a gate take from order to installation?
Typically 2–3 weeks after design approval, depending on size and finish. The committed dates go into your quotation before work starts.
